In addition, if you are using the board to secure a wooden base you should always use a 10mm thick board. f. However,if you have the the available build height we would recommend using 20mm insulation boards as these provide a very good trade-off between cost and insulation efficiency providing a U vale(wm2k of 1.35Our 10mm board has a U value of 2.70 and our6mm board has a U Value of 4.50.
